As a provider of healthcare services, Salveo Healthcare prides ourselves on our record of safety based on our commitment to clinical governance and quality management framework.

Clinical Governance and Quality Management Framework

Clinical governance is essential for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and effective healthcare. It provides a structured framework for continuous improvement, accountability, and engagement, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes and increased public trust in the healthcare system.

By embedding clinical governance into everyday practice, Salveo Healthcare can achieve excellence in care and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Our systems have been accredited with:

Quality Innovation Performance Limited (QIP)

QIP is a not-for-profit health promotion charity with more than twenty years’ experience in community service accreditation and more than ten years’ experience in primary and secondary health care accreditation and related services.

National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards

The eight NSQHS Standards are:

  • Medication safety
  • Comprehensive care
  • Communicating for safety
  • Blood management
  • Recognising and responding to acute deterioration

Our Foundations of Service Delivery

Salveo Healthcare is committed to reducing unnecessary hospitalisations while enhancing the health and wellbeing of Tasmanians.

Our Foundations of Service Delivery centre around in-home nursing, person-centred care, timely delivery, and access to a multidisciplinary team, all within the comfort of the community.

Our clients, living across the major population centres of Tasmania, benefit from the appropriate use of quality clinical care, educational support, responsive service, and collaborative advocacy.

Evidence Based Care

Our clinical team is driven to make real change for the people we care for. The programs and services we deliver are informed by evidence. We have drawn from the best available evidence to shape our programs and have conducted our own pilot trials to enhance patient outcomes.

Australian Charter of Healthcare Rights

The Australian Charter of Healthcare Rights describes rights that consumers, or someone they care for, can expect when receiving health care. These rights apply to all people in all places where health care is provided in Australia. This includes public and private hospitals, day procedure services, general practice and other community health services.
