Good News for New Parents in the North West
Salveo Healthcare continues to provide post-natal care
Salveo Healthcare have been delivering, on behalf of St.LukesHealth, a Private Post-Natal Service for eligible St.LukesHealth members in the Launceston region since 2017. The Private Post-Natal Service offers a choice for post-natal care, with mothers choosing to receive care either at home or in a hotel setting. The focus of this service is to allow mothers and their families the opportunity to rest and care for their baby while being supported by midwives and lactation consultants.
The Private Post-Natal Service is now available in the North West
St.LukesHealth have expanded this service to make it available to their eligible members in North West Tasmania. The team at Salveo Healthcare are excited to say that this service has recently launched in the Burnie and Devonport regions, with two mothers having already accessed the service to date.
“The new St.LukesHealth Private Post-Natal Service is a welcome addition to the choices for privately insured women. The focus for the maternity service is ‘woman at the centre’ and this program supports that. The women I have spoken with so far are excited to learn about the program. The choice of a hotel or home service provides new parents with a complimentary gift basket that includes gift vouchers which help support their transition to parenthood. Post-natal care is provide by a team of midwives, coordinated to suit their needs.”
