What is Support at Home?
The Support at Home Program is a government-funded service that helps older people stay safe, well, and independent at home for longer. It provides practical help and healthcare support based on personal needs.
About our Support at Home services in Tasmania
Salveo Healthcare is an associate provider under the Support at Home Program. We provide clinical care on behalf of a registered provider to clients in Tasmania. The registered provider still oversees the overall care plan.

Which clinical services may it include?
Clinical or nursing care will be based on the client’s individual care plan. These may include:
- Wound care, dressing changes, and help to protect the skin
- Support with medications and understanding how to take them
- Injections or infusions
- Health checks (such as blood pressure or blood glucose)
- Catheter or stoma care
- Help to manage pain
- Education and support to manage long-term conditions (such as diabetes or heart disease)
